Renewable Energy

Solar Canopy

Solar energy generated via solar panels (also known as Photovoltaic Solar or PV solar) is one of the most sustainable ways we have of generating energy and electricity today. Solar panels are a proven, time tested, highly evolved technology and are ready for use. Solar panels are made of silicon. When they are hit by sunlight, the electrons of the silicon flow through wires that are built into the panels, which creates the electricity. Apro GreenTech Solar lighting systems will pay for itself in only about 2 years time. Apro GreenTech Solar photovoltaic panels are durable and do not require much maintenance, once in while cleaning of solar cell modules will be it. Average life time of solar power panels are 25 years, which justify the initial cost of solar panel. Solar systems work even when its cloudy. Naturally, cloud cover reduces the amount of solar radiation reaching the panels, but the system will produce some electricity and/or heat on all but the most overcast days.

LED Lights

An LED lamp is a light-emitting diode (LED) product which is assembled into a lamp (or light bulb) for use in lighting fixtures. LED lamps have a lifespan and electrical efficiency which are several times longer than incandescent lamps, and significantly more efficient than most fluorescent lamps, with some chips able to emit more than 300 lumens per watt (as claimed by Cree and some other LED manufacturers). The LED lamp market is projected to grow by more than twelve-fold over the next decade, from $2 billion in the beginning of 2014 to $25 billion in 2023, a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 25%.

They are motion sensor power saving.

Green Rooftops

A green roof or living roof is a roof of a building that is partially or completely covered with vegetation and a growing medium, planted over a waterproofing membrane. It may also include additional layers such as a root barrier and drainage and irrigation systems. Container gardens on roofs, where plants are maintained in pots, are not generally considered to be true green roofs, although this is debated. Rooftop ponds are another form of green roofs which are used to treat greywater. Green roofs serve several purposes for a building, such as absorbing rainwater, providing insulation, creating a habitat for wildlife, increasing benevolence and decreasing stress of the people around the roof by providing a more aesthetically pleasing landscape, and helping to lower urban air temperatures and mitigate the heat island effect.

Rain water & Grey water harvesting

Demand for water is growing in most cities as every urban citizen requires almost double the amount of water that a rural citizen requires. Moreover, India is rapidly urbanizing. Municipalities have been stretched to their limits to find water for the growing urban population. Rural groundwater is being extracted by the Govt. as well as private firms, but is not being replenished. Apro provides sustainable rain water harvesting/irrigation solutions for urban, rural, industrial, commercial and household setups.

Our product Smart Shading is an innovative approach to rainwater harvesting. It harnesses solar power to light up, provides shade and aesthetic beautification, and also harvests rainwater.
